The document you submitted is not accepted for the Every Kid Sports Pass program.
Why aren't these documents accepted?
P_EBT, CEP, and Free and Reduced Lunch letters are not accepted because many school districts offer free meals to all students — not just families who qualify based on income or benefits.
Is there any exception?
Yes — one. A Free and Reduced Lunch letter can be accepted if it specifically states that your child receives Medicaid or SNAP benefits. The letter must include all three of the following:
- Your child's name
- An enrollment date within the last 12 months
- A statement that your child is currently receiving Medicaid or SNAP benefits
If your letter does not include all three of these things, it will not be accepted.
What should I submit instead?
Look for a Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC document that was mailed to your home, or take a screenshot from your benefits portal. Make sure the document shows your child's name and a date within the last 12 months.
EXAMPLE OF AN ACCEPTABLE QUALIFYING DOCUMENT:
Can I reapply?
Yes. If you can fix the reason your application was declined, you are welcome to reapply. Keep in mind that funds are limited each season and reapplying does not guarantee you will receive funding. If you reapply, your application will go to the back of the line.
